It's been 3 weeks since I left Auckland and got back to work! And today, someone told me that I've became superficial somehow. Hehh.. You know? I don't. Haha! And yes I do give a fuck about work. ((:
Next up the question will be degree or no degree this year. Hopefully I'll have the answer by end of this week so as to be able to do the necessary paperwork and application. But for now, let's cheers to 3 days off!

Nothing scares me as much as a.......CAT!
yes, id rather jump off stuffs than be beside a cat/dog/whatever.
was downstairs otw back and i saw that cat! the one that made jump and run. haha! it all happened when i was webcam-ing with sheila downstairs one night.. was siting on a curb and using another higher curb as a table to put my laptop on. happily we were chatting..... and when i turned around, all i saw was a brown tail stuck up in the air and after 2 seconds, it registered into me that its a CAT's tail. then i took another second to decide what to do, and if im to run, do i take my laptop with me.. of cuz i did in the end. screamed, jumped out, and ran. only to see my pack still lying there on the curb. but luckily that cat was gone as fast as i was. and obviously sheila had a good time laughing at me after that! LOL!
erm, bg got her new toy! the rabbit vibe. she gave me the honour to decide if i want it first. but nah... then she got it for herself. haha! took a vid of her advertising 2 of those similar ones in the shop. haha.. and her advert line to me is... "this function is what a guy's thing cant do. they can only go in and out, whereas these stuff they rotate and vibrate really well!" *smacks forehead* couldnt stop laughing for awhile..

Greetings from auckland itself baby!
hello. was watching a short video clip of the nevis highwire bungy in queenstown, it definately sent shivers down my spine! hahaha! you have to take something like a cable car to do the 134meters fall from a hanging cabin amongst the mountains in 8.5seconds. wow. watching those people jumping off, im already feeling scared for them... still, i wanna do it! ((:
skydiving for the second wasn't even scary at all.. bungy is definately a million notches higher. all i can think about for the nevis bungy is that its erm, worse than commiting suicide from a flat. many times higher. haha.. and not forgetting the tradition of jumping off stuffs in the tour includes cliff jumping tooo~!!! we missed that this time round huh, cuz obviously we didnt know where to go to jump off those cliffs, or the appropriate bridges to jump off as well.. haha!
oh, for now the important thing is that, ive got my laundry done. cheers to that shall we? ;) after 3days of procrastination! haha! queenstreet yesterday was good. loving those walks im taking along the streets alone, though its been crazy. lol. was actually planning to shisha alone yesterday on my way back home, but erm, i dont mind shisha-ing alone, but not alone in the shop with no other customer?! hahaha! no thank you. then it was duck dinner outside, then movies...... then home. then sleep.
its been more of doing nothing here in auckland and spending some time by myself and ya.. but id take it. when in singapore will i have such a chance to do nothing and slack around with such nice temperature and crazy people around me... and even like on off days, it passes by so quickly without you even knowing that the day's over.
there's pros and cons in everything i guess... cuz back in singapore, thats where all my lovely frens are. though technology is there for us to keep connected, personal meetups are still the best eh. and here in new zealand, its more of just me alone, with bg and maybe afew other randoms who will *poof* dissappear when the time comes. hahaha! not bg, but the randoms. even still, i love meeting all these newly met people in this trip, and they somehow just give me a new view of life in general, and to know that there's really so much more to offer out there.. hehh.
anw, scalloping on saturday might be cancelled cuz erm, cam's dad said thats no scallops in our region. sadded. so we're working on other plans... but we'll still be heading to the waitakere range for a track and of cuz, the beautiful sceneries it has to offer~ yayy! and tmr will be shopping at dressmart with bg! also, my skin's really itching for a new tattoo now. plus bg's idea of getting a character from my chinese name transformed into some tribal design....mygod. isnt just awesome!

the fallen angels..?
after having so much of fun, i look at myself in the mirror in disbelief. is it like what bg said, the club of 'fallen angels', or wait, was i ever in the category of angels to begin with... the whole church thing and all.
to err is human. right. to forgive is divine.
yes i still believe theres a god, the god thats in the bible.
fine, actually i dont even know what im talking about here. ahaha! forget it.

As a chapter ends, another one comes along..
its new years and here i am in the apartment doing nothing but just lot of thinking back with my hot chocolate.
absolutely loved how 2010 came to an end. first time spending new years abroad, and it has to be new zealand! (: the last week of the year was spent overdosing myself with adrenaline.....!!!
second time falling off a plane at 15,000ft in a year was breath-taking. the sense of familiarity. hehh. i like it. the adrenaline pumping free-fall and the beautiful view of lake taupo which is the size of singapore...
jumping off a cabin 49meters above the lake. chimneying+++ before i decided that i'll never be ready for it so why not just go for it. haha! i remembered that the thoughts of backing out was filling up my mind as i stood at the edge with the heavy weight of ropes hanging off below from my ankle. but as the crew counted "3, 2, 1, bungy", i just made myself lean front and fall off that cabin. i had totally no control of how my body fell but managed to touch the water a little, wow. speechless...
rapids jetting was another dose of adrenaline. we were along the streams where the movie yogi bear was filmed. now it just makes me wanna watch that movie! hmm, and those 180degrees spins cuz the jet has no brakes, and the little hops out of our seats. oh, not forgetting how our driver continuously saying into the walkie of his "these guys need a wash!" so the other jet made a 180degree spin right next to us and splash~ we were drenched with the freeeezing cold lake water! but when we thought we'd give them back the wash, they ran away in another direction. hahaha!
followed by those 2 thermal walks we did. long walks under the sun! thats absolutely the way to get burnt huh.. haha. but was worth it. nice mudpools.
spa road's hotspring along huka falls, was mindblasting. ultimately memorable place, cuz of 8months ago. what's new with my 8months ago anyway right. (: but this time was in the day time when we went. wasnt as quiet, there was quite a crowd. so we left after awhile. i still prefer that place in the night!
cold lake taupo was one of the awesome possums in the roadtrip. the dip at the warmer side of the lake. alongside with some kiwi girls who joined us, and those heavenly adorable kids!!! ahh, i want my own.. haha..
and not forgetting the last night at element bar to end off the roadtrip to taupo... since there was wayyyyy too much adrenaline pumped into me, id definately need some antidote. which happened to be a night out. random people i was with, but its those random ones who made it the night. love. oh and all the alcohol... though none of the hangovers so far can ever beat the one 8months back in rotorua, where we were just totally gone and had to go for our white water rafting early in the next morning. haha!
its been really crazy so far, in other words, im having the time of my life~ just hoping that auckland will be as good in the upcoming week.
yesterday being 31st december 2010, we made our way back to auckland.. went to the sexshop with bg and got my joint. gonna be trying it soon i guess. haha! and here in new zealand, we definately were the firsts in the the world to welcome the new year!!! erm which is 5hours before my loves back in singapore! and one hour before those in australia... sweet as. followed by a lovely countdown with her frens onboard a yacht, in the cold, with cider, watching the beautiful fireworks of the new year! ((: who ever thought id be welcoming 2011 in sucha chillax manner huh. then a lil walk and drink along K'road where the party of auckland was at! what more can i ask for... crazily i ended off 2010, crazily i started 2011~
besides all those done to close off year 2010, i listened to memories on the way back to auckland on repeat for quite awhile. hmm, its been quite a song for some time in the past year. and honestly, i think 2010 has been kind of a roller coaster, had its ups and downs pretty much.
started off this year with lunch at some yum cha place. and here i am back in the apartment while bg's at work.. supposedly its time for laundry today, but as usual, me and my procrastination. haha! so yea, took some time reading through my past posts in 2010. omg. its been a crazy year. so many things! so many firsts, so many people, so many transitions... haa, its just mindbasting.
and with this, it reminds me of one part of the song, it goes "lets bring it back"... personally to me now, after so much has happened, i dont think id wanna bring any memories back. its nice to re-live them once in awhile and keep them somewhere in your heart, but not bring them back i guess. memories are meant to be stored, no? haha.. if memories are to be brought back, life will never move on huh. you will be too busy bringing back the past. its fine if you just want a moment like the past, but if you know that its not gonna be the same somehow, dont keep your hopes up too high, no? no point keeping hopes all up there and when things doesnt go the way you wished it did, you feel weird. okay, thats my opinion. its now just live life as it is, and enjoy and cherish what you have for you wont know if any of these will soon become just memories...
ive also figured that sharing too much sometimes makes you feel vulnerable towards people. and trust has always been an issue for me, nothing new. im just hoping that 2011 will be a smooth sailing year. especially career wise as well, i really hope that all is well. and of cuz, my plan of saving up for a treat for myself after my bond. lol. i know it might seem redundant and far-fetched, but i'll try. try me! ;) i wanna be at gisbourne, far north of the north island of new zealand for the first sunrise in the world of the year in 3years time from now. thats my dream.
to close off,
HAPPY 2011 TO ALL~!!! :D
ciao.
**theres minimal pictures taken on this trip. reason being its more of soaking myself into the wonderful happenings, then to create so much to fall back on in future that'll make me go aww+++**
